Goldie on who to look at in QE3

I saw this and thought I would share. I am sure the list of potential names could be expanded.

From Goldie.....
The FOMC will issue its policy statement on Thursday, September 13, at 12:30 pm ET, and many expect additional quantitative easing from Bernanke & Co.. The Fed could announce additional asset purchases and an extension of its interest rate guidance, among other things. Now investors need to know how to position themselves ahead of the likely event.

Research at Goldman Sachs, looking back at prior QE announcements, showed that investors should focus on stocks with low valuations or high growth prospects.

In the "cheap growth" style camp, Goldman highlighted Halliburton (NYSE: HAL), eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY), Norfolk Southern (NYSE: NSC) and Hologic (NASDAQ: HOLX). Other stocks on the list were Och-Ziff (NYSE: OZM), Cree (NASDAQ: CREE) and Ameriprise Financial (NYSE: AMP), among others.

In the "consistent outperformers" style camp, the firm highlighted Dick’s Sporting Goods (NYSE: DKS), TE Connectivity (NYSE: TEL) and Monsanto (NYSE: MON). Other stocks on the list were SanDisk (Nasdaq: SNDK), Nuance (Nasdaq: NUAN), and Lennar (NYSE: LEN), among others.
