The charity event will have you and friend 'be challenged" by General Petraeus in a 5K run around the National Mall in Washington D.C. in what the website (found here) calls a grueling physical and metal challenge. I could only imagine what grueling means to a four-star general who was the commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan and supposedly a fitness aficionado. This seems like a great cause and if a grueling physical challenge does not seem interesting, how about playing battleship with the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff Admiral Mullen. They have me sold.

The Mission Continues..... Charity Raffle to Win a Chance to Workout With General Petraeus
The Mission Continues is a non-profit charity organization that assists veterans and provides a support framework for veterans to perform various community service work. Or so I am learning, as I was intrigued by a charity event raffle the organization is running with the help of General Petraeus.
