The Horsehead Nebula, the iconic stellar object that is in possible
every astronomy and science textbook, got a dramatic new look courtesy
of the Hubble Telescope. The below image is shown in the infrared
wavelengths versus the normal visual light we are accustomed. Although
it looks less likely a horsey, as some children are prone to call it, I
like this view so much better, as you can almost make out the creation
being born out interstellar gas.
