You have no doubt heard of the horror ongoing in the Navy yards in DC. I have been listening to the live feed of the events going on, and felt compelled to share this particular comment/insight provided on NBC 4. The network anchor relayed to viewers that some of the information being received is via internet and social media. The broadcaster then provided a very telling statement, that many caught up in the tragedy and broadcasting are getting their information via the television.
So lets get this straight, the television news broadcasters are getting information from the web broadcasters who are getting information via broadcast news.
