S&P 500 Price/Volume Heat Map- 8/5 Trading Day Edition

In 8/5 trading, the S&P 500 lost about 10 basis points in value, as all but the staples, telecom, and technology sectors declined in value. The losses, on a price basis, were largely within a few basis points of the market's overall decline. This is with the exception of utilities, which declined 70 basis points.

The price/volume heat map continues to point towards neutral to negative supply/demand dynamics in the equities in the S&P 500. Telecom shares experienced the most positive demand dynamics. The remainder of the sectors had more negative demand characteristics.
