Thursday trading (yes, a little late, but Friday was an exceptionally busy day), can be categorized as a distribution day without a doubt. With the benefit of hindsight, the end of trading last week was distributive all around but those comments are for another piece. In sum, all sector groups saw a decline in stock prices with the market falling nearly 1% in value.
The price/volume heat map indicates that Thursday trading action was ruled by the sellers, with supply far outweighing demand. In fact, demand was weak across the board and the highest demand came from telecom shares.
