Although ADBE gave guidance for a light quarter, traders and investors apparently liked what they saw, and the shares traded up 13% after the 'negative' pronouncement. The upside move in the shares may be related to investors giving the company a benefit of doubt on their transition to a subscription based, cloud model. This is after the company reported gaining over 400,000 subscribers.
