I am still on the fence with this analysis. In one sense, Task Rabbit and similar services, as portrayed in this video from Bloomberg, do appear to be a disruptive innovator, essentially providing an alternative and competition for your own time.
That said, I remain on the fence as to the service's disruptive potential. I guess the real question remains with the economics of the business and the market and the time value of roughly $5 to $20 per errand. That said, I find this business intriguing for many reasons.
