S&P 500 Price/Volume Heat Map for 7/5 Trading Week

The latest ended week, the S&P 500 traded up by 160 basis points, with the bulk of that coming off of Friday's trading. All sectors gained on the week except for utilities. The later continues to take it on the chin with the improvement in long-term treasury rates.

The weekly price/volume heat map reflects the price performance of the sectors. Although gaining 1.3% on the week, healthcare stocks were weak under the surface with 50% of the names exhibiting weak price/volume characteristics.
